Reports can be combined into sets of "packages" that can be run automatically at pre-defined intervals.
User access can be limited by business model. For example, asset managers can be given access to the Asset Management business model, but can be prevented from having access to the Investor or Corporate records. Additionally, certain accounting functions can be limited to only those users granted access to such items. Many components within PLUTO are password protected so that changes can be made only by those who are authorized to do so.
An audit history is maintained of all record changes, detailing the user who made the change and the date and time the change was made. Reports can be run for any given time period to see backdated transactions and changes.
